QNCC PRIVACY POLICY

This is the website of the Qatar National Convention Centre (QNCC).

 

Once QNCC receives your information, our privacy guidelines ensure the confidentiality of any personal details you choose to provide through this site. This means we will not provide information that would personally identify you to third parties, although this information may be used for our internal market research purposes and aggregate reports. In all other cases, the personal details you provide remain confidential with QNCC.

 

Additionally, unless you indicate you wish to receive material in the future, we will not send you any information beyond that you have specifically requested from this site. This is just part of QNCC ongoing commitment in continually evaluating our efforts to not only protect your personal information, but also meet legislative and consumer expectations with regard to online privacy.

 

For each visitor to our website, our Web server does not recognise personal information regarding your specific email address or other computer details, except generic domain information required for system administration of the Web server. We do not use cookies for collecting user information for this website.

 

We will only record your email address and other personal details if you ask us to place you on our mailing list. Your details will only be used by us for the purpose for which you have provided, and you will only be added to our marketing list if you expressly wish to be notified of upcoming events or special promotions. We will not use your email address for any other purpose, and will not disclose it without your consent.

 

Under the Privacy Act, you have a right to seek access to information which QNCC holds about you. You also have the right to ask us to correct information about you which is inaccurate, incomplete or out of date.

 

If you wish to access the personal information that we hold about you, please set out your request in writing, including your phone number, and forward this to the QNCC Privacy Officer at Education City, PO Box 34195, Doha, Qatar. If you wish to change personal information that is inaccurate or out-of-date, please contact the QNCC Privacy Officer using the contact details noted below with your request for correction. It is the policy of QNCC managed by AEG Ogden (Qatar) Pty Ltd as the agent of the Qatar Foundation to consider any requests for access or correction within 21 days.
