Qatar National Convention Centre due to open in early 2011 is operated by AEG Ogden, one of the world’s leading international venue management specialists, which also manages the Brisbane, Cairns and Darwin Convention Centre’s in Australia and Malaysia’s Kuala Lumpur convention centre. 

 

 

You will have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role ideally within the Hospitality or Business Events Industry.  You will possess excellent organizational and communication skills, have the ability to work under pressure, towards deadlines and be culturally sensitive. 

 

 

You will be responsible for;

 

• Conducting sales calls in the local market
• Assisting Sales Managers with client proposals
• Research projects
• Promoting and representing the QNCC
• Preparation of sales presentations
• Producing weekly and monthly reports
• Accurate recording of data into our EBMS data base system

 

As a key member in our Sales department, you will be dynamic, driven and results orientated.  You will be well presented and flexible with your working hours.  Bi-lingual skills in both English and Arabic are essential.
