NEW GLOBAL HUB
Opening in 2011, the Qatar National Convention Centre was purpose-built to host the world’s most prestigious gatherings of minds.
The Centre’s high-end environment is ideal for associations, corporations and organisations who are seeking a venue of choice, as well as those looking to enhance the quality of their meetings.
In keeping with Qatar’s emerging status as a global hub of ideas and innovation, QNCC will provide a unique stage hosting a full range of conventions and meetings.
QNCC’s signature entrance recalls a traditional place of gathering in Qatari culture. Designed by renowned Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, the spectacular facade is symbolic of two intertwined sidra trees.
The sidra is a beloved icon in Qatari culture. It is a beacon of learning and comfort in the desert, a shady haven for poets and scholars, who gathered beneath its branches to discuss and impart knowledge.
