QSTP is the state-of-the art home for technology-based companies from around the world and an incubator for start-up enterprises.

The Qatar Foundation and QSTP's 21 partner organisations in QSTP have invested over $800m in the technology innovation hub. The Park will initiate its own projects for research, training and demonstration of platform technologies, such as robotic surgery, solar energy and proteomics, the large-scale study of proteins.

QSTP is currently home to some of the world’s leading organisations in the energy, environment, health sciences and ICT fields including Chevron, Cisco, ConocoPhillips, ExxonMobil, MEEZA, General Electric, Microsoft, SMARD, and Shell.
