NU Qatar offers curricula modeled on the innovative undergraduate programs of Northwestern’s School of Communication and Medill School of Journalism in Illinois, USA and taught by faculty who hold appointments at the Evanston campus.
The journalism program, with focus on print, broadcast and multimedia, leads to a Bachelor of Science in Journalism degree. The communication program, with curricula offerings in communication theory, history, industries and media technologies and practices, leads to a Bachelor of Science in Communication degree with a major in Media Industries and Technologies.
