QATAR NATIONAL LIBRARY
Located on Corniche the Qatar National Library will be home to the Contemporary Art Museum and Museum of Science and Natural History.
Designed like wings by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki, the stunning structure aims to lift Qatar’s education to the next level and promote a better learning experience.
QATAR PHOTOGRAPHY MUSEUM
Exhibiting over 15,000 items, the Qatar Photography Museum will feature the finest work of international and local artists in an 11,000m2 gallery space. The collection includes photographs, 1960s albums, cameras and accessories as well as significant documents.
One of the highlights of the museum will be its cutting-edge ‘smart walls’, which open and close to control natural light flow in the building. World-famous architect Santiago Calatrava designed the museum.
