EXHIBITION VENUE OF CHOICE

Qatar’s reputation for first-rate infrastructure, strategic location and dynamic economy make it the perfect gateway to the new economic powerhouses of the east and the consumer markets of the west.

In 2008-2009, Qatari exhibitions posted 21.75% growth, way above the average 11%-12% annual growth
of exhibitions held in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states.

Doha is already an established regional exhibition hub hosting many major trade and consumer events. Today it is playing an increasing role in helping international companies market their products and ideas
to the world, as well as tapping into the fast-growing and lucrative Middle East market.

When Qatar National Convention Centre opens in 2011, the Centre will provide an exceptional facility with generous spaces to host thousands of visitors as well as luxury features and amenities never seen before
in the exhibition world.

“QNCC will be an exciting and unprecedented platform for exhibitions, specially for those who desire to showcase their products and services in the best possible quality environment,” said Sylvia Ansara, Sales Manager Exhibitions + Live Events of the Qatar National Convention Centre.

The huge number of research and academic institutions in Doha have secured their place among the
leading locations for education, technology and research. In addition to its traditional oil and gas trade, other industries thriving in Qatar include banking and finance, education, medical and health care, IT and telecommunications, construction and urban development, transport and logistics.

On completion, the premier exhibit facility will have an impressive 40,000m2 of exhibition spaces in nine
halls with countless configuration options, and an outdoor exhibition area. There will also be easy access
to ground level loading docks for exhibitor convenience and efficiency.

The stylish and well equipped VIP lounges, hospitality suites and business service hubs guarantee organisers, exhibitors and buyers of a highly productive trade environment.

Undercover parking for 3,200 vehicles is connected to the Centre by an air-conditioned tunnel providing
a multitude of sponsorship or promotional opportunities. The dual direction 275m long and 9m wide travellator is designed to transport large volumes of exhibition attendees and delegates in comfort and
with ease.

Large-scale events with complex needs will be easily catered for. There is a choice of 57 meeting rooms incorporating a conference hall for 4,000, 2,300-seat lyric style theatre, three-tiered auditoria and seating
for 10,000 in theatre or banquet mode.

Providing a world-class venue for hosting exhibitions will further establish QNCC as one of Qatar’s competitive assets.
